Word Search

Another way to explore the New Testament on this site, is to do it by starting with a word or form that you want to understand better. There are two ways to do this. First of all, you have to decide whether you'd like to type in "betacode" or "unicode". Simply stated, unicode is a multibyte way of typing greek characters(generally by using a special keyboard or program), whereas betacode takes normal latin characters (like i'm typing in right now) and converts them into unicode for you.

If you want to take the betacode route, check out search help for information on what it looks like, and then type the word into the box on the left hand side of the screen, as shown below:

If you can type in unicode, I'd recommend just changing the URL, as shown in the picture above. The syntax is for when you know the precise form

http://www.zhubert.com/word?word=[UNICODE]

Or when you only know the root...

http://www.zhubert.com/word?root=[UNICODE]

Where the brackets should not be used...just replace that whole block with your unicode.

There is also an advanced search capability now on the site where you can specify and endless list of conditions that you want the search to match. This is found here.
